Happy beginning of July folks.
I know that when you get older time seems to speed up … but this year has been ridiculous.
Waaaaay too fast.
Any minute now … July 26th to be precise … I’ll be 50 … and that’s when you really get a weird feeling of time gone by … and time still to live.
On Monday I went to Shaylyn for a traditional dance class … great fun.
I learnt a little about sean nos dancing … which is the precursor to Irish dancing and tap dancing.
We also had a go at Irish dancing … it kind of defeated me as all the jumping was hurting my back a bit … but everyone else was having a ball.
I relaxed and watched the others do some caili dancing (set dancing) and just had a lovely time.
I’m really looking forward to other sessions both in Ballinamore and across the border.
