I’ve spent about 8 hours designing Gabriels blog site today … resizing and organising photos and text … deciding the key pages etc … adding posts etc.
All good fun.
And … I’ve decided that’s the last free blog site I do for a while.
I need to earn some money … and you may not have the time or skill to design your blogsite … so this is what I intend to offer:
A blog site designed for your:
small business …info and photos of your products and services … clients … sales … offers … free info … contact info
community group …info on what you do … update on activities … any plans … photos of events … fundraisers
family …pics and stories of your family … weddings … communions … parties … celebrations. I can show you how other members can be included as contributers … and they can add text and photos.
It will be basic and very easy to use and update.
I’m going to charge somewhere 200 euro (and am open to a barter/cash mix) for the following:
- set up your wordpress name e.g. lizbiz.wordpress.com
- spend an hour with you deciding what you want on the blog and the theme design
- you provide photos and key text … I can help with the writing
- I go away and design the blog site and insert photos and text
- I meet with you for an hour and show you how you can add your own text and photos … and a few other handy tips
- You’ll receive a simple guide on how to use WordPress from me
If you want something more complex then we negotiate a price beyond 200 euro … I’ll let you know in our first design meeting if what you want exceeds the basic design package.
And … if you want me to update your blog on a regular basis then we can negotiate a comfortable price/barter.
