So much for me having a lolling day.
Coco puppy was up and about at 8am … and therefore …so was I.
Put her bed in the kitchen last night to get her used to not sleeping on the couch … apart from a little whining (and I’ve heard worse at meetings I facilitate) … she was a dote.
I’ve started a new game with her where I hide a treat in her bed and then say ‘ find’ … which she does every time … food is such a great motivator.
She’s asleep on my bed as I type this post … and upload the last of the Festival photos (that’s me not the puppy).
I think that the people in our fancy dress parade put so much thought into their costumes … some are funny … many make a statement … and everyone had a blast.
Apologies to the gnomes (Orla and crew) …your photo is a bit blurred as I was having trouble with my camera. They were the Gnome Pride Parade.
Important Note: – my good neighbours Lynda and Derek were the judges and our other fab neighbour Maggie won a prize.
Now before anyone yells ‘rigged’ I want to point out that Lynda and Derek didn’t even know that Maggie was one of the people in the boat. Mags and Orla won it on their own merit.
They have donated the boat to the Sunny Funny Garden and I think we’ll use it to play pretend boat trips down scarey rivers … or crocodile infested waters.
So … here they are … the last of my Festival photos.
I always said that Ballinamore is like the Bermuda Triangle of Ireland … it attracts and captures all sort of people … good to see Elvis alive and well.
I loved the traffic cones … they literally stopped traffic.
I’m off to loll now … enjoy your day.
