Good news … I’m vertical.
The cold is slowly leaving my system … still feel a little ragged.
Up at 7am to start some work … I wanted to develop an information pack to let people know about my service offerings in my Focused Solutions consultancy … and attract some work … and money.
Worked away for a couple of hours and then went back to bed at 9.30am for a nap.
Up again at 10.30am and sent the info to brother Marc.
I tried to get a balance between giving enough information and trying to keep it to 2 pages.
Marc … very rightly … said that I needed to spread the information over more pages.
William dropped in and asked if Coco and I wanted to go to Garadice Lake for a walk … yes please.
Garadice was as beautiful as ever … look at the buttercups in the field … they’re everywhere.
Coco and Ella had a wonderful time running about … Coco is coming back a bit more often.
Back home and I worked away again at spreading all the writing over a few pages.
I was about to send it to Marc when he emailed me a totally designed version of my writing.
Marc is beyond amazing at making my words sing … it just looks so good.
I love it and have inserted it here on the blog … let me know what you think.
I emailed it to a lot of organisations I know in Dublin … and also researched email addresses on large non profit organisation sites.
I think I’ve emailed it to over a hundred people … and … people are sending it on to others (thank you) and saying how much they liked the pack … clear and easy to read.
Job done … now roll on a few contracts.
As I was working there was a knock on the door … it was Jonathan and his new pup Shadow … a gorgeous girl.
Coco and Shadow had a great time jumping around for about 3o minutes.
Jonathan had kindly dropped me in some Manuka honey and cranberries for my cold … people are very kind.
And just as I was sitting down to work again … another knock … it was Sharon from Cannaboe Confectionary.
I’m one of her professional tasters … I begged for the job!
She was dropping in a batch of brownies for me to taste and give feedback … tough job folks … sorry there’s no photos … I ate them really quickly.
I recently got to taste her cupcakes … beyond Yum!
She also received her jar of honey from Anne … our wonderful bee keeping blogger in America … I nearly kept it as my jar is nearly gone.
I’m not a great brownie fan as they tend to be a bit dry.
And Sharon’s brownies?
Yum … yum … light … lovely choc taste with nuts … moist rather than dry … happy Liz.
Go have a wander on Sharon’s blog and have a look at the cupcake wedding cake.
Coco and I have just been watching a RSPCA tv show … one dog was really badly treated but ended up with a great family … I patted Coco and told her she’d never have to worry … she was much loved and if anything happened to me … Mags would find her a happy home.
I’m chilling now.
Hope your day was full of interesting people and things.
p.s. I’ve been emailing a few national organisations to get advice about Sunny Funny Garden. No one has an answer yet but they are looking for me … thanks.
