According to Native Americans the January full moon (this Sunday) is called the Wolf Moon.
This full Moon appeared when wolves howled in hunger outside the villages. It is also known as the Old Moon.
Time for a really good wishing … and anyone that knows me understands that a lot of my wishings become reality… and the ones that don’t are usually because I didn’t really want them … or I wasn’t really clear.
Call them goals or focused intent or prayer … I don’t care.
I decide what’s important in my life right now and then choose a few things I’d like to attract or develop.
Then be very clear about what that ‘thing’ looks and feels like … see and feel yourself receiving it … enjoying it … living it.
I then say whatever my wish/es are 3 times (I’ve no problem with the notion of magic).
Every home I’ve lived in over the last 11 years came from clear wishing … I was just very very clear about what I wanted, wished it, and then it happened … much to the surprise of many of my friends … after all … only children ‘should’ make wishes.
Why should they have all the fun?
And before anyone asks me if I got this idea from that book ‘The Secret’ … no … a thousand times no.
I’ve been doing clear wishings for about 20 years … and that book is a pile of donkey doo.
It could have been written on 1 A4 page. It’s the only book in my life that I’ve wanted to burn … badly written … repetative … full of other ‘experts’ quotes … yuck and double yuck.
Back to the full moon on Saturday.
It should be lovely and clear if the weather stays as frosty as it has been.
Until I draw my Celebrations for 2009 I won’t know where to start my wishing.
Better go and tidy up the office then … wish a fairy and a team of elves would do it.

p.s
oh yeh – and every wishing also requires a focus of action and intent.
Tell people your wishes (those you trust), find opportunities to seek your wishes out, be open to new situations and people … it all helps.
And if wishing on the moon feels strange … wish on a bus , when your walking, in the bath, before you go to sleep … doesn’t matter when or where … just start to be clearer in your life about what’s important in your life right now.
I will be out there wishing on that moon with you!
I wish, I wish, I wish for…… well, you know what
I am wishing for 🙂
I am going to take all your words to heart and
keep my mind to new ways to make those wishes
come true.

Don’t be surprised if you hear any howling – it’ll be coming from the hill! After all, this was wolf territory not so long ago…
Happy Wishing…
[…] had been reading through my fav blogs, as I said earlier and I had really enjoyed Liz’s post about the wolf moon when I noticed that the fire was going down and remembered that I had to bring in some fuel […]
It’s a glorious clear sky evening.
